HH ties are handmade using specialty fabrics and made-to-order production methods. Proper care will help preserve the shape, texture, and longevity of your tie.

General Care

Untie knots gently after wearing.
Hang or roll ties loosely for storage.
Avoid prolonged folding or creasing.
Keep away from excessive moisture and direct heat.

Ironing & Steaming

Ties may arrive with light creasing from the handmade production and shipping process.

If needed:

Lightly steam or iron on a low setting
Use a pressing cloth when possible
Avoid excessive heat, especially on specialty fabrics

Specialty Fabrics

Some HH ties are created using fabrics not commonly used in traditional neckwear, including silky cotton lawn and silk dupioni. These materials may naturally contain slight texture variations and should be handled with care.

Cleaning

We recommend professional dry cleaning only when necessary.

Do not machine wash or place ties in a dryer.

Handmade Variation

Because each tie is individually made to order, slight variations in print placement and construction are part of the character of the product and not considered defects.
